Philcomm’s technical staff are fully qualified technicians and engineers with many years experience with large radio communication manufacturing organisations, major telecommunication network service companies, utilities and information technology businesses. All staff including administration, sales and technical support are continuously trained with the latest technology developments and business methods to ensure that the customer will enjoy the best possible support. Philcomm and its parent companies operate four (4) fully equipped workshops in S.E. Queensland. Test equipment and qualified personnel are able to support most brands of mobile communications, fleet management solutions and data systems on a 24-hour basis. Currently, our Brisbane, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast and Toowoomba workshops support major transport, government and service-based companies in S.E. QLD. Philcomm offers first line maintenance support for all equipment including mobile radios, base equipment, fleet management systems, system integrated items and consoles. All major brands of radios can be supported on-site or at our workshops including TAIT, ICOM, SIMOCO and many other brands of radio and fleet management equipment In addition, the companies engineering and service staff provide remote and field service for numerous telemetry systems around Queensland. Philcomm provides technical consultancy support with respect to radio communications, data communications, frequency assignments, interference tracking, network analysis, path loss surveys, topographic radio surveys and others. Site services (repeater maintenance and service) typically include a 4-hour “time to site” for “off air” service within our operational area in S.E. Queensland and major cities throughout Australia. This service includes replacement (when available) of faulty equipment to ensure the customer remains “in service”. Philcomm manages and maintains MPT and PMR networks (over 350 channels) on a first line basis. Service time varies depending on the fault and its location. Our qualified technicians generally solve 99% of faults on systems that Philcomm has installed or is contracted to maintain. Where the technician cannot complete a repair in an acceptable timeframe the service managers and/or systems engineers provide additional resources and support to achieve the desired result. Other resources are used to solve such problems requiring interference investigation, software and specific hardware fault services. Click HERE to contact the Service Department |
